Sarna Goldenberg
Sarna Goldenberg is a seasoned marketing leader with a passion for purpose-driven storytelling, community engagement, and mental health advocacy. A lifelong dog lover, she brings her skills to Paws for Patrick as Director of Marketing & Communications, where she leads brand strategy and communications. Sarna is especially passionate about creating spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Before joining Paws for Patrick, Sarna served as Director of Marketing & Communications at Bernie’s Book Bank, where she developed compelling donor, volunteer, and media engagement campaigns and launched strategic partnerships. She led the organization to break a world record for the largest book pyramid, and her work helped scale its reach to distribute 3 million free books annually. Earlier in her career, Sarna held senior marketing roles at Performics, a Publicis Groupe agency, as well as co-founded a virtual advice platform that received national media recognition.
Sarna holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Union College. She lives in the Chicago area with her husband, two children, and their aspiring therapy dog, Sadie. Outside of work, she is a Mahjong instructor, hockey fan, bookworm, and volunteer.
