Facility Dog Chair, Board of Directors
Kirstian Heitman Warkins graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts. She currently resides in Berthoud, Colorado, with her spouse, Brad Warkins. Together, they have three children: Valerie, Joseph, and Dionysus.
Since retiring from the workforce, she has devoted her time to extensive volunteer service with nonprofit organizations in her community, including serving as a Board Chair with the Junior League of Denver, and volunteering with Broomfield FISH and Meals on Wheels. Her commitment to animal welfare has included volunteering with Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue, Almost Home Adoptions Cat Rescue, and Big Paws Huge Dogs.
Her involvement with Paws for Patrick holds deep personal significance. She has been on the Board since its conception in honour of her wonderful nephew and Godson, Patrick. From the beginning, she was instrumental in launching the Emotional Support Animal Program, where she personally interacted with each applicant. She has since served as the Chair of External Fundraising and a committee member on both the Golf Outing and Gala. She is currently working alongside her sister and founder, Fronzie, to launch the Paws for Patrick Facility Dog Program.
She will forever be linked to Paws for Patrick and is devoted to supporting the organization's mission in Patrick’s name.
