Dan Maigler

Board Development Recruitment Chair, Board Member

 Dan Maigler is a licensed clinical social worker with a lifelong dedication to promoting positive mental health and reducing unnecessary suffering. A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University (BA in History), the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work (MSW), and Northern Illinois University (MSEd in Educational Leadership), Dan has spent his career supporting young people and families through challenging times.

Having served as Patrick’s school social worker, Dan’s involvement with Paws for Patrick is deeply personal. Facilitating connections between young people and animals has been both healing and meaningful, allowing him to honor Patrick’s memory while making a tangible difference in the lives of others. He lives in Park Ridge, Illinois, with his wife, Melissa, their sons, Ryan and Calvin, and their Patterdale Terrier, Mariska.
